Netflix Schedule September 2-8 2024: New TV Shows & Movies Being Added

Netflix ‘s new TV and movie releases for September 2-8 2024 include the movies The Perfect Couple and Rebel Ridge.

Starting Thursday, September 5, the drama crime mystery series The Perfect Couple premieres on Netflix. Directed by Jenna Lamia, whose previous credits include The Fighter, The Call, and The Box, the story follows Amelia, who is on the verge of marrying into one of Nantucket’s wealthiest families when a shocking death disrupts the wedding. This mysterious death casts suspicion on everyone in the family, making them all potential suspects. The series features a stellar cast, including Nicole Kidman, Liev Schrieber, Dakota Fanning, and Ishaan Khattar.

Then on September 6, Rebel Ridge arrives on Netflix. Starring Aaron Pierre, this new action crime-thriller movie follows an ex-Marine who confronts crime and corruption in a small town after local law enforcement steals the money he intends to use to post his cousin’s bail.

Also coming out on Netflix this week is Edge of Tomorrow. This is an action movie directed by Doug Liman. It stars Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt.

Edge of Tomorrow’s story follows Major Bill Cage, an army officer who has no combat experience. Cage’s life changes after he gets demoted and dropped into combat which inadvertently sucks him into a time loop.
