A brand new set of Nosferatu photos from Focus Features‘ upcoming reimagining of 1922’s classic gothic movie of the same name has been released. The horror movie is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 25, 2024.

“The film is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

Who is in the Nosferatu photos?

The new stills provide the audience with a closer look at some of the main cast members’ characters, including Nicholas Hoult’s Thomas Hutter, Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Friedrich Harding, and Lily-Rose Depp’s Ellen Hutter. One of the photos features Depp’s character bleeding from her eyes and mouth. The ensemble cast will also include Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok, Emma Corrin as Anna Harding, Ralph Ineson as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers, Simon McBurney as Her Knock, and Willem Dafoe as Prof. Albin Eberhart Von Franz. The latter previously portrayed a version of the titular character in the 2000 meta-horror comedy Shadow of the Vampire.

The Nosferatu remake is written and directed by Robert Eggers, who’s returning to the horror genre after nearly a decade since the theatrical release of his feature-length directorial debut movie The Witch. The film is produced by Eggers, Jeff Robinov, John Graham, Chris Columbus, and Eleanor Columbus.
