Exclusive Green Night Trailer Sets US Release Date for Neo-Noir Thriller

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Green Night trailer, previewing the upcoming film about the relationship between two women that spirals into a drug trafficking ring mystery. It premieres via video on demand and digital outlets on October 18, 2024.

What happens in the Green Night trailer?

The Green Night trailer highlights the relationship started between a customs employee at a South Korean airport and a mysterious woman she befriends, who ends up working for a drug trafficking ring.

Green Night is directed by Han Shuai from a script co-written by Shuai and Lei Sheng. The film stars Fan Bing Bing, Lee Joo Young, Kim Young Ho, and Kim Min Gui and is produced by Liu Ziyi and Wang Jing.

“Trapped in a cycle of oppression, Chinese immigrant Jin Xia (Fan Bingbing) works in customs at South Korea’s Incheon Airport, where she encounters a mysterious green-haired girl (Lee Joo-young) acting suspiciously at the security checkpoint,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Overcome by the unspoken attraction between them, she takes the enigmatic stranger home only to uncover her involvement in a deadly drug trafficking ring. After the two end up killing Xia’s abusive husband, the pair go on the run, but when Xia returns to the crime scene to retrieve the drugs the green-haired girl left behind, their plans for finding freedom together take a dangerous turn.”
