Netflix has set the Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl premiere date, confirming that the film will have its debut at AFI Fest 2024.

When is Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’s premiere date?

According to a release on the American Film Institute’s site, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl will premiere on October 27, 2024, during the closing day of AFI Fest. The film will be screened at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatre as part of the film’s Red Carpet Premieres section.

“We are delighted that our film will have its world premiere at AFI Fest in LA’s iconic Chinese Theatre,” said the film’s directors Nick Park and Merlin Crossinghamin a statement. “Years in the making, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl is an epic adventure that brings together everything people love most about Aardman, from stop motion craft, to character and story, and we can’t wait for audiences to see what antics our favourite duo have been up to!”

Passes for AFI Fest 2024 are available now. The historic festival is set to run from October 23-27, 2024, and will also feature a litany of other film premieres.

The Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl cast includes Ben Whitehead, who will star as Wallace following the passing of the original voice of Wallace, Peter Sallis, who died in 2017. The rest of the cast is comprised of Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan, and Lenny Henry.

“In this next installment, Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a ‘smart’ gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master … or Wallace may never be able to invent again!”
