    Inside Out 2 Disney+ Release Date Set for Highest-Grossing Animated Movie Ever

    Disney has finally announced the Inside Out 2 Disney+ release date for Pixar‘s latest blockbuster animated hit, which serves as a sequel to 2015’s Oscar-winning movie.

    “The film returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone,” reads the synopsis.

    When is the Inside Out 2 Disney+ release date?

    Inside Out 2 will officially be available for streaming starting on Wednesday, September 25, on Disney+. During its theatrical run, the film earned a total gross of over $1.675 billion at the worldwide box office, making it the highest-grossing animated movie of all time. It is also still Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with a Tomatometer rating of 91%.

    Inside Out 2 is directed by Kelsey Mann from a screenplay written by Meg LeFauve. It is produced by Mark Nielsen, with original director Pete Docter serving as an executive producer. The sequel features the voices of returning cast members Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, and Lewis Black as Anger, along with Maya Hawke as Anxiety, Tony Hale as Fear and Liza Lapira as Disgust, Ayo Edebiri’s Envy, Adèle Exarchopoulos as Ennui and Paul Walter Hauser as Embarrassment.
