Meanwhile, Athanasiou attended Korda’s golf tournaments to show his support. He even once praised her golfing skills in an interview with WoodTV, after she won the Meijer LPGA Classic golf tournament. “It’s fun to be a part of. Andreas Athanasiou also confirmed in a TSN interview, that he plays golf with Nelly Korda. When asked if he ever came close to beating her, he answered, “I can take her maybe on a 9.” He then said he came pretty close to winning against her in a match, but said by 18 he’d “blow up too many times to even come close.”
