Netflix has officially announced the addition of Katie Leung (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), Michelle Mao (A Big Bold Beautiful Journey), and Isabella Wei (The Crow) to the cast of Bridgerton Season 4 for the newest installment of the hit romance drama.
The streamer also confirmed that filming on Bridgerton Season 4 has finally begun in London. To celebrate its production start, the first photos of lead stars Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha have been revealed, showing the newest Bridgerton couple on the set of the popular series. Thompson is set to reprise his fan-favorite role as Benedict Bridgerton, while Ha will be playing Sophie Baek.
Who is in the Bridgerton Season 4 cast?
Leung, Mao, and Wei are set to portray the respective roles of Lad Araminta Gun, Rosamund Li, and Posy Li. Besides Thompson and Ha, Bridgerton Season 4 will also star returning cast members Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown, Lorraine Ashbourne as Mrs. Varley, Masali Baduza as Michaela Stirling, Hannah Dodd as Francesca Stirling, Victor Alli as Lord John Stirling, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Bridgerton, Daniel Francis as Lord Marcus Anderson, Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton, Martins Imhangbe as Will Mondrich, Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton, Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Will Tilston as Gregory Bridgerton, Polly Walker as Portia Featherington and more.

- Leung’s Araminta: Twice married and twice widowed, Araminta has two girls debuting on the marriage mart this season and is feeling the pressure to get at least one of them married off. Fabulous, discerning, and blunt, Araminta does not respond well when anything — or anyone — threatens her standing in society.
- Mao’s Rosamund: Beautiful, vain, and eager to please her mother, Rosamund is Araminta’s eldest daughter and most prized possession. Rosamund sets her sights on Benedict Bridgerton this season and is determined to get what she wants.
- Wei’s Posy: Rosamund’s younger sister, the much kinder Posy is also debuting this year. But her mother rarely puts the spotlight on Posy, as her chatty, overly friendly demeanor often has her putting her foot in her mouth.
The official logline for Season 4 reads, “The new installment turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.”
Bridgerton is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, showrunner Jess Brownell, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and Chris Van Dusen. Season 4 will be based on the An Offer from a Gentleman novel, which is the third book in Julia Quinn’s bestselling Bridgerton book series.
