    Dog Man Trailer Sets Release Date for DreamWorks’ Newest Animated Movie

    Universal Pictures has released the official Dog Man trailer for DreamWorks Animation ‘s newest action animated movie about a crime-fighting canine police officer.

    “When a faithful police dog and his human police officer owner are injured together on the job, a harebrained but life-saving surgery fuses the two of them together and Dog Man is born. He sworn to protect and serve—and fetch, sit and roll over,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “As he embraces his new identity and strives to impress his Chief, he must stop the pretty evil plots of feline supervillain Petey the Cat. Petey’s latest plan is to clone himself, creating the kitten Lil Petey, to double his ability to do crime stuff. Things get complicated, though, when Lil Petey forges an unexpected bond with Dog Man.”

    When is the Dog Man release date?

    Dog Man is scheduled to make its debut in theaters on January 31, 2025. The cast is consist of Lil Rel Howery as Chief, Pete Davidson as Petey the Cat, Isla Fisher as TV reporter Sarah Hatoff, Poppy Liu as Petey’s assistant Butler, Stephen Root as Grampa, Billy Boyd as Sarah’s cameraman Seamus, and Ricky Gervais as Flippy the fish.

    The film is directed by Emmy winner Peter Hastings (Animaniacs), based on Dav Pilkey’s graphic novel series of the same name. It is produced by Karen Foster (How to Train Your Dragon).
