On September 17, Liles officially announced his exit as CEO from 300 Entertainment and WMG. He co-founded the company in 2012 alongside Lyor Cohen, Roger Gold, and Todd Moscowitz. He took to Instagram to share a lengthy statement expressing his gratitude and breaking his organizational exit news.

Aside from detailing the company’s influence, he wrote about the next chapter of his life, which will be more about “listen, learn, lead, and love.” “Specifically, I will be continuing to end the criminalization of hip-hop lyrics exemplified by the unjust prosecution of Jeffery Williams,” he stated.
