Cellar Door Trailer: Jordana Brewster Has 1 Rule to Follow in Thriller

Lionsgate has shared the first official Cellar Door trailer, previewing the upcoming thriller movie about a couple who moves into a house with one strict rule.

What happens in the Cellar Door trailer?

The trailer highlights a couple (Jordana Brewster and Scott Speedman), who, looking for a fresh start, are given a massive and lavish house out of nowhere by a wealthy man (Laurence Fishburne). However, the man has one condition that must always be followed: the couple cannot open the cellar door.

Cellar Door is set to release on November 1, 2024, when the film will be available both in theaters and on-demand services.

Alongside Brewster, Speedman, and Fishburne, Cellar Door also features Chris Conner, Katie O’Grady, Randy Sean Schulman, Jenny Lam Tien, Kiah Butts, Jesaar Landavaso, Kyle Stoltz, Zach Feiner, and Naiya Amilcar. The film comes from director Vaughn Stein (Terminal), and is co-written by Sam Scott and Lori Evans Taylor.

“Looking for a fresh start after a miscarriage, a couple (Brewster and Speedman) find themselves being gifted the house of their dreams from a wealthy homeowner (Fishburne) with one caveat – they can never open the cellar door. Whether they can live without knowing triggers shocking consequences,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
