Former WWE Superstar MVP extended an offer to former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Swerve Strickland during Dynamite. This special edition of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam marked MVP’s debut.

MVP left WWE when his contract expired in August, along with his former Hurt Business teammate, Bobby Lashley. Following their departures, reports surfaced about MVP discussing a potential role with AEW. These speculations became reality on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.

At AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Tony Schiavone interviewed Prince Nana on the entrance ramp. Schiavone asked Nana for an update on Swerve Strickland, who hadn’t appeared since his match against Hangman Page at AEW All Out in a Lights Out Steel Cage match. This brutal match saw Strickland lose to Page in an incredibly violent showdown.

On Dynamite: Grand Slam, Nana explained that Strickland was not cleared on medical grounds to compete but was working on his return. Suddenly, MVP interrupted and criticized Nana for failing to manage Strickland properly, claiming he was too focused on dancing. He handed Nana a business card and encouraged him to pass it to Strickland, suggesting they could discuss business when Strickland was ready. Following this offer, Strickland broke his silence about the situation.

Swerve Strickland’s response: What did he say about MVP’s offer?

Former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Swerve Strickland has chosen to respond to MVP’s offer. Strickland took to Twitter to share a photo of his manager, Prince Nana. Interestingly, he did not include a caption and simply posted the image of Nana.

Swerve Strickland’s cryptic post featuring Prince Nana has sparked speculation about whether he is contemplating MVP’s offer. There are questions about whether Strickland is ready to part ways with Nana, who has been by his side for most of his AEW career. Alternatively, the chances of Strickland and MVP forming a new faction with the potential addition of former WWE stars Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are worth considering.
