Additionally, the crime rate of the city went up by 42% within a couple of weeks as mentioned in The Penguin Episode 2. While the news reports confirmed Batman saving lives during the mayor-elect Bella Real attack, there were no further mentions of his whereabouts.

Although The Penguin creators have confirmed that Batman won’t be appearing in the series, theories are surfacing to explain his absence. It is possible that the Caped Crusader is healing from his wounds, which he sustained towards the end of The Batman.
