A new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 gameplay trailer is out, previewing the next chapter in the ongoing Black Ops series.

What happens in the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 trailer?

The latest trailer offers up some new clips of gameplay from the game’s campaign, mainly just in the form of action shots and other quick clips. The trailer also shows off more of the upcoming story, which is set to take place in 1991 amidst the outbreak of the Gulf War, when CIA operative Russell Adler re-emerges and sends a cryptic message about the existence of a clandestine force.

Check out the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 gameplay trailer below:

Originally announced in June, Black Ops 6 is co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. The game also has the designation of being the longest in-development Call of Duty in the franchise’s history, with this game having been developed for four years.

Among new additions to Black Ops 6 is the game’s “omnimovement” system, which allows players to sprint, dive, and slide in any direction. The game will also see the return of the highly popular Zombies mode, as well as a new multiplayer and single-player component as well.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to release on October 25, 2024, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 6, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass for subscribers to the PC Game Pass & Ultimate tiers of the service on day one, as well.
