Final Heretic Trailer Released for Hugh Grant A24 Horror Movie

The final Heretic trailer has been released for the horror movie starring Hugh Grant. Written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, it will be released in United States theaters on November 15, 2024.

“Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant), becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse,” the official synopsis reads.

Who else is in Heretic?

The movie also stars Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets), Chloe East (The Fabelmans), and Topher Grace (That ’70s Show). Heretic held its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and received positive reviews from critics, with many praising Grant’s performance.

Beck and Woods’ previous filmography includes 2015’s Nightlight, 2019’s Haunt, and 2023’s 65. They are also credited as writers on 2018’s A Quiet Place and 2023’s The Boogeyman. The two of them are producing Heretic alongside Stacey Sher, Julia Glausi, and Jeanette Volturno.

It is produced by Woods, Beck, Jeanette Volturno, Stacey Shrer, and Julia Glausi. Kai Raka and Liliane Bedford serve as co-producers, while Katie Aquino is an associate producer. It has a runtime of 111 minutes.
