Scott Reeves will be back as Steven Webber in General Hospital for a few episodes, starting October 24, 2024.

The news about Reeves’ General Hospital return broke out following his recent interview with TV Insider, where he expressed his feelings about being back as Steven. “It was like coming home,” he said. “It was just so weird driving up to Prospect [Studios] and going through the guard gate. Literally, from the moment I drove in, I was like, ‘Wasn’t it just a week ago that I left and I was pulling out of here?’” he added.

Reeves got into more details, revealing how he got a warm welcome from his co-star Rick Hearst. “Rick and I have remained very close over the years,” he further stated.

As Reeves continued to explain how returning to the set made him reminisce about the good old memories, he shed light on his character’s upcoming storyline as well.

In 2009, when Reeves was hired, he was a recurring member. However, his contract was renewed and then he played the character full-time. However, he was let go from the famous soap opera due to unknown reasons a few years later. In the show, his character Steven Webber was sent to prison for killing a patient.

Now, the upcoming episodes will showcase Steven Webber’s story after he is released from prison. Reeves reveals that Steven, who is now out of prison, will be shown starting a fresh life in Sedona, Arizona.
