Sydney Sweeney‘s Euphoria character, Cassie, remains one of her most acclaimed roles. The popular show, as well as its unique characters, are frequently referenced in pop culture trends. Besides the Euphoria storyline highlighting the struggles of troubled youth, it also garnered attention for the characters’ style and vibrant makeup looks. Now, Sweeney is getting candid about what she stole from Cassie’s wardrobe.

What did Sydney Sweeney take from the Euphoria wardrobe?

Sydney Sweeney recently graced the cover of Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year issue. In the video interview, the 27-year-old discussed some of her popular movie and TV looks. At one point, Sweeney revealed, “I kept a lot of Cassie’s jeans because they were all like tailored to fit me perfectly.”

Sweeney explained why she got her hands on Cassie’s wardrobe, saying, “A lot of times jeans are too long on me ’cause I’m short.” However, Cassie’s jeans fit the actor’s proportions, which is why she stole the jeans. Sweeney even confessed to taking the lingerie of her Euphoria character.

During the interview, the actor also shared that in the first season, she wanted Cassie’s color palette to “be like pale pinks and soft blues.” She explained, “Those are some of my favorite colors and I wanted to put them into Cassie’s story.” Meanwhile, for season two, the character underwent a major style change as she tried to morph into “these other girls that Nate is dreaming of.” Sweeney explains that her character took looks from Hunter and Alexis’ style and incorporated them into her own.

Besides the fashion, Cassie’s makeup looks were another talking point in the show. Sweeney shared that they “kind of like mix and match and put it all together.” She added that it was “like playing dress up.”
