Here are the best horror movies to watch for free this Halloween on Vizio’s WatchFree+.

    Coraline

Released in 2009, Henry Selick’s stop-motion fantasy movie Coraline is nothing short of a Halloween classic. It’s great for adults and younger audiences alike, perfectly striking a balance of spooky and fun.

    The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

There’s a reason why The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is still as popular as it is even though it’s been 50 years since it was initially released: it’s because it’s really, really good. It’s really, really good, and it’s really, really scary — Tobe Hooper’s iconic slasher is one that’s worth watching and rewatching again and again and again.

    Oculus

Mike Flanagan, who is known for making Netflix series like The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, made an incredibly creepy horror film called Oculus in 2013. He’s now got The Life of Chuck coming out next year, meaning there’s probably never been a better time to revisit his underseen psychological thriller starring Karen Gillan and Brenton Thwaites.

    Train to Busan

Looking for a really unique, really fun twist on a zombie movie? Yeon Sang-ho has you covered with Train to Busan. This is a really intense, really cool twist on the genre that takes some surprising turns. It’s also getting an American remake in the near future, meaning now is a great time to go check out the original.

    Elvira: Mistress of the Dark

It can’t be Halloween without Elvira. It simply can’t. You know her, you love her, and, in 1988, she got her own feature film, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, directed by James Signorelli that has all the camp and raunchy comedy you could hope for.
