2 Tesla vehicles crash in Commerce City, drivers taken to hospital

DENVER (KDVR) — Two Teslas crashed in Commerce City on Wednesday, sending both drivers to the hospital.

According to the Commerce City Police Department, the crash occurred at Landmark Drive and 104th Avenue intersection. The intersection is largely residential, east of Second Creek Open Space and Chambers Road.

Both drivers in the crash were transported to hospitals with unknown injuries.

A FOX31 photojournalist was at the scene, where one Tesla was still in the roadway and another had come to a stop next to a residential neighborhood’s sign.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
