This past Saturday, 270 Hoops welcomed over 100 young men to Central Crossing High School for two separate sessions of the 2024 Prospect Camp. COLUMBUS, Ohio -- This past Saturday, 270 Hoops welcomed over 100 young men to Central Crossing High School for two separate sessions of the 2024 Prospect Camp. The coaches in attendance were helpful and knowledgeable, giving instructions and tips for the players, while putting them through drills that will translate to actual gameplay. Players were receptive to tough coaching, the theme for the day was “embracing difficulty,” as every young man will have to overcome some type of adversity on or off the court at some point. This experience for the players will be one they can look back on and take away the positive results. Below are some of the top performers from both sessions at the Prospect Camp.

Ohio State University receives $10 million from Wolfe Foundation
Ohio State University has announced a $10 million gift from the Robert F. Wolfe and Edgar T. Wolfe Foundation to establish a deanship in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Named in recognition of the late Rita Jean Wolfe—who served on Columbus Humane’s board and as part of the Dean’s Philanthropic Engagement Council at the College of Veterinary Medicine—the deanship will directly impact and help create a sustainable future of excellence in veterinary medicine. The gift is meant to celebrate Rita Wolfe’s character and unwavering dedication to animal welfare. It also expands the family’s past philanthropic investments in the College of Veterinary Medicine, which include creation of the Wolfe Associates Inc. Endowed Professorship in Canine Clinical and Comparative Medicine.
