Bobbi Althoff’s rising content creation career landed her an interview with YG in his hometown Compton , Calif. The 26-year-old personality hilariously reacted to what sounded like gunshots while they were speaking in a clip from their forthcoming interview.

The first noise goes off and she asks, “What was that sound?” The 34-year-old rapper claims that it was either a motorcycle or car with a souped-up muffler, which Althoff said she had never heard before. A few seconds later, a similar sound goes off and the “Bompton” rapper denies it being a gunshot. “I [don’t] think that’s a gunshot, probably like some other sh*t,” he said. “That’s not a gunshot, or you would’ve heard more than that. It would’ve been back-to-back.”

Naturally, she was on guard and asked if any actual gunshots would go off while they continued the conversation. The My Krazy Life artist said he hoped not, but it was common in that neighborhood. He claimed he had “100 homies” around the corner hanging at the park. As more time passes, another noise goes off and it is the loudest of them all.

“Okay, that felt like maybe it wasn’t a car,” Bobbi Althoff said. YG appeared to believe maybe there was gunplay going on and told one of his people to go around the corner and check on the situation. He repeated to Althoff that he had homies “chillin'” at the park around the corner, which she did not seem to fully believe.

The fast-rising podcaster has had funny moments similar to this one ever since breaking onto the scene in 2023. Her first major interview was with Drake and went viral for him attempting to introduce her to Tyga’s “Rack City.” As he sang along to the hook she appeared to not enjoy the track and eventually reached over to his phone to turn the song off.

Althoff has also interviewed Lil Yachty, Offset, Tyga, BenDaDonnn, Angelina Jolie, Sukihana , Jason Derulo, and more. Check out the Tyga interview below.
