    New, cheap nonstop Concord flights feature Orlando and New England

    CONCORD, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Avelo Airlines announced Wednesday it will expand its network at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport with six new nonstop routes.

    Beginning this fall, Avelo will operate these routes twice weekly utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft, officials said. Avelo is offering low, one-way fares starting at $52.

    Nonstop flights from the Queen City will include:

    • Albany, New York (ALB) beginning Thursday, Nov. 7 – Thursdays and Sundays
    • Boston/Manchester, N.H. (MHT) beginning Thursday, Nov. 7 – Thursdays and Sundays
    • Hartford, Conn. (BDL) beginning Thursday, Nov. 7 – Thursdays and Sundays
    • Orlando/Lakeland, Fla. (LAL) beginning Thursday, Oct. 24 – Thursdays and Sundays
    • Philadephia/Wilmington, Del. (ILG) beginning Friday, Nov. 8 – Mondays and Fridays
    • Rochester, N.Y. (ROC) beginning Friday, Nov. 8 – Mondays and Fridays

    “We’re growing again! We’re excited to grow in the Queen City and provide six new nonstop destinations. We’re off to a great start with our service to New Haven, showcasing Avelo’s low fares, travel-friendly convenience, and industry-leading reliability,” Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy said in a released statement on Wednesday. “This exclusive nonstop service will also make enjoying nearby Charlotte and Concord’s abundance of vibrant urban and outdoor experiences a fast and seamless journey for visitors.”

    Avelo serves 52 destinations spanning 23 states, Puerto Rico, and two international countries: Jamaica and Mexico.
