The five-year, $255 million deal remains one of the largest contracts ever for an NFL athlete. Signing Hurts to an extension made sense when Roseman put together the offer. But after a disappointing end to last season, is it time for the Eagles to think about their future plans? If so, a Jalen Hurts trade would provide them with cash and salary cap relief, which they could use to extend more of their homegrown talent.
