New bee species found in Pennsylvania
The scientific community in Pennsylvania is abuzz with excitement. Multiple new species of bees have been discovered in the Keystone State. According to a Penn State press release, a group of community scientists — each of which was trained by Penn State experts — participating in a monitoring program led by the university found these new varieties of bees while documenting their regional patterns of biodiversity as well as how many there are.
