Man dies after being run over by city bus while trying to get bus to pull over, police say
PHOENIX — A pedestrian is dead after he was struck by a Phoenix city bus overnight on Tuesday, city police told 12News. Officers were called to Central Avenue and Van Buren Street for reports of a crash involving a person and a bus. Officers found a man with serious injuries when they arrived and attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, officials with the Phoenix Police Department said.
