Since the unfortunate incident this past Sunday, around 7 p.m., when a Grand Rapids man in his mid-30s went missing after capsizing, local authorities have been ceaselessly scouring the area. According to FOX 17, the Ionia County Sheriff's Office has described the lake's features as challenging, filled with depths and facets that obstruct their efforts. Public access has been closed off since Wednesday evening to bolster the search operations.

MUSKEGON, MI - After existing in disrepair for years, the skate park at Muskegon’s Seyferth Park is next in line for a makeover. “Once this fell apart and they removed it, anybody who’s in the skate scene in Muskegon, we go out somewhere else,” said Brian Cook, standing near what’s left of the skate park; a half pipe and some rails. “It used to be a huge thing. LANSING, MI -- Michigan is surveying historic locations included in the Negro Motorist Green Book. The Green Book was a guide book for Black travelers across the nation published from 1936 to 1966.
