Berks man charged in break-in at Connecticut state office building
A Connecticut state office building was closed Monday after a Berks County man broke into a transformer vault in the basement over the weekend, state officials said. State police troopers and officers with the Hartford Police Department responded to the Office of the State Comptroller at 165 Capitol Ave. Sunday just after 5:11 p.m. after a security alarm was activated, according to Connecticut State Police.
