Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will be without bassist Martyn Casey on their upcoming UK and European tour.

According to a statement from the band, Casey is suffering from an unspecified illness.

Fortunately, the Bad Seeds have found a worthy replacement in Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood , who will stand in on bass for these upcoming shows. Greenwood previously backed Cave on his recent solo tours, and also contributed to the band’s new album, Wild God .

The tour officially kicks off in Germany on September 24th and runs through mid-November. Last-minute tickets are available for purchase here .
