St. Vincent stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night to perform a pair of songs from her recent album All Born Screaming : “Flea” and “Big Time Nothing.”

As expected, St. Vincent brought plenty of ferocity to her performance of “Flea.” Bathed in a stark red light, she raged through the song’s grungy chorus and eventually landed on her knees for a dreamy guitar solo. For “Big Time Nothing,” on the other hand, St. Vincent appeared more tense and poised; She employed lots of hand choreography, and by the time she got into her new wave-inspired solo, she loosened up and began dancing around the stage a bit more. While her pair of songs were definitely rousing on Fallon , she was even more frenetic when performing “Broken Man” through a moshpit on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this year. Her appearance on Fallon arrives in the midst of the final leg of St. Vincent’s “All Born Screaming Tour” — still to come are dates in New York, Washington D.C., Toronto, Chicago’s Riot Fest , and more.
