Charli XCX has announced a new version of her smash 2024 album Brat , titled Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat , due out October 11th. She’s also shared the latest remix of one of Brat ’ s original tracks, “Talk Talk,” featuring her friend and future tourmate Troye Sivan .
Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat is comprised of each subsequent remix that Charli XCX has released before and after her album rollout: There’s the “Von dutch” remix with A.G. Cook and Addison Rae, the “360” rework with Robyn and Yung Lean, the “Girl, so confusing” remix with Lorde, “Guess” with Billie Eilish, and finally, “Talk Talk” featuring Troye Sivan.
The rest of the song titles are yet to be revealed, but based on the album title, they’re likely further reworks of Brat’ s original tracks. The album artwork, meanwhile, maintains the original Brat color and styling, but with Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat written backwards.
The latest cut from Charli’s remix album is “Talk Talk” with Troye Sivan, and the song arrives just two days before Charli and Troy begin their “Sweat” tour together. It marks their third collaborative track, previously linking up in 2019 for the Charli cut “1999” and its subsequent remix, “2099.”
With a newly-added throbbing bass, keyboard stabs, and Troye Sivan opening the song, their remix is less faithful to the original than prior Brat remixes. Charli even busts out a different verse for her turn, and she strikes the song’s original airy “Talk Talk” refrain. Dua Lipa makes an appearance on the track as well, speaking in French and Spanish (like Charli requests in the final moments of the original). Stream the “Talk Talk” remix with Troye Sivan below.
Charli XCX and Troye Sivan kick off their “Sweat” tour in Detroit on Saturday, September 14th; the North American run continues through September and ends in Seattle on October 23th, hitting cities like Toronto, New York, Chicago, Nashville, Miami, Los Angeles, and more along the way.
