Billie Eilish participated in latest installment of Stephen Colbert’s “Questionert,” answering questions about favorite sandwiches, fear of whales, thoughts on the afterlife, hopes for the future, and more.

Appearing on The Late Show for the third time this year, Eilish agreed to be “known” by Colbert’s 15 signature questions. She began by alluding to several sandwiches she enjoys, without being able to fully recall their ingredients. Then, she revealed her very first concert was The Neighborhood, shared that she once got Skylar Grey’s autograph as a child, named the whale as the scariest animal, and more.

When asked what song she’d pick if she could only listen to one song, she chose “Nightcall” by Kavinsky, who she recently shared a bill with when both artists performed at the closing ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

On the deeper side, when Colbert asked about the afterlife, she said she liked the idea, but wasn’t very comfortable with the idea of eternity. As for what five words she feels describe her future, she said, “Laughter, smiling, snuggling, eating, singing.”

Eilish’s appearance follows the appearance of her new album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT , which was named one of Consequence ’s favorite new releases when it dropped this past May.

Up next, she will be hitting the road with her “Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour,” kicking off next month in Québec, Canada and running through July 2025 with dates around the world. Along the way, she’ll make stops in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, and more cities. Get tickets here.
