Garza retraces the groups steps over the past 11 years, from going on hiatus right before the pandemic to returning to the stage when The Who asked them to open a line of shows. He also talks about why he decided to pick up the producer reigns for the first time once they were back in the studio working on Resurrection.

Of the album specifically, Garza gives us the backstory on the darkness of closing track “Blood Water” and explains how the record’s first single, “Wish You Would,” is an outright tribute to The Beatles. Resurrection also arrives on the 20th anniversary of the group’s breakthrough debut album and hit single “Heaven,” and Garza explores how the band will be working old and new into the sets of this year’s tour (get tickets here ).
