As fans are getting ready for Oasis’ upcoming shows and a new announcement from Linkin Park , another wonderful happening has been announced in the summer of reunions: the return of TV on the Radio , who will celebrate their debut album, Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes , later this year with a new reissue and three live residencies.

Speculation that TV on the Radio would return began circulating late last month after the band updated their website and social media pages for the first time in a while. Their latest album, Seeds , arrived in 2014 and their most recent live show was in 2019 — since then, there hasn’t been much from the band but radio silence (pun intended).

Now, the band will reissue Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes on November 15th via Touch and Go Records (pre-orders are ongoing). In addition to the album’s original nine songs, the reissue will feature several bonus tracks and two previously-unreleased songs, including “Final Fantasy,” which was recorded as a demo early in the record-making process and eventually evolved into the track “Bomb Yourself.” Today, “Final Fantasy” arrives as the reissue’s lead single — stream it below.

After the reissue of Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes arrives, TV on the Radio will end their five-year hiatus from performing with three upcoming residencies, starting with four nights at Webster Hall in New York on November 25th, 26th, 29th, and 30th. After that, they’ll head to Los Angeles for three nights at El Rey (December 4th, 5th, and 7th). Then, from December 10th through 12th, they’ll be at the Islington Assembly Hall in London. According to a press release, the band’s live lineup will feature Tunde Adebimpe, Kyp Malone, and Jaleel Bunton.
