The flavor combos in this will blow your mind! At only 20 minutes from start to finish, that's a dinner winner in my book! Here's all you'll need to make it (4 servings):

    Ingredients:

    • 4 Tbl unsalted butter
    • 4 Tbl honey
    • 1 Tbl lemon juice
    • 1 Tbl light soy sauce (I like Shoyu)
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 1/2 lb peeled shrimp

    Optional:

    • salt and pepper
    • lemon wedges
    • chopped parsley

Heat butter in a non-stick pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Allow the butter to melt, swirling the pan and stirring occasionally for about 3 minutes until the foam subsides, and the butter turns golden brown with a nutty aroma.

Add the honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and garlic to the pan, stirring well to blend the flavors. Cook for 30 seconds until the garlic becomes fragrant. Remove the pan from heat.

Carefully pour out a little more than half of the browned butter mixture, leaving about 2 tablespoons in the pan. Reserve the excess for later use.

Add half of the shrimp to the pan with the honey butter mixture. Sear for about 2 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp is just cooked through and no longer opaque. Transfer the shrimp to a plate and set aside.

Wipe the pan clean with a paper towel, then add another 2 tablespoons of the honey butter mixture. If the sauce has thickened too much, you may need to add 1 teaspoon of olive oil or extra butter. Sear the remaining shrimp for 2 minutes on each side until just cooked through and opaque.

Return the cooked shrimp to the pan and pour in the remaining honey butter sauce, stirring to coat the shrimp evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with parsley.

Serve with steamed vegetables, over rice, or with a salad.
