    I don't care what anyone says, this is an awesome breakfast. It's got sweet, savory, hearty, protein... and tasty to boot! Here is what you'll need to make 2 sandwiches (but you'll likely want to double it once you taste it):

    Good thing they're easy and quick to make!

    Ingredients:

    • 4 toaster waffles
    • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
    • 1/4 pound shaved honey baked ham
    • Raspberry jam
    • 1/4 pound shaved turkey, optional
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 2 tablespoons melted butter
    • Powdered sugar, for dusting

    Place shredded cheese on two toaster waffles, followed by a handful of ham (and turkey, if desired), then add another layer of cheese. Spread raspberry jam on the remaining two waffles and place them on top of the cheese-covered waffles to form sandwiches.

    Heat a frying pan over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.

    In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Dip one of the sandwiches in the egg mixture, coating it well, then place it in the frying pan. Cover the pan and cook until the sandwich is browned on one side, then flip and cook until the cheese is melted. Repeat with the remaining butter and second sandwich. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy!

    * Notes:

    Believe it or not, this makes a really great camping breakfast too! Simply construct your sandwich, wrap in foil and place on a cooking grate over coals. Depending on how hot your coals are, just make sure it's turned before it burns. The idea is to get it hot enough to heat all the way through and melt the cheese before burning the waffle.
