    Ingredients:

    • 1 pound lean ground beef
    • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
    • 2 tablespoons water
    • 5 large (12-inch) flour tortillas
    • 1/3 cup store-bought nacho cheese or queso
    • 4 tostada shells or 1 cup tortilla chips
    • 1/3 cup sour cream
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
    • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
    • 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
    • Hot sauce, for serving

Brown hamburger in a hot cast iron skillet over medium heat. Drain grease, then add the taco seasoning and water, stirring frequently, and cook for about 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and set the skillet aside.

Cut one tortilla into four equal pieces by halving it into two half-moons, then halving each half again. Set these pieces aside.

On a clean surface or cutting board, lay one whole tortilla flat. Spread about a quarter of the nacho cheese in the center, roughly the size of a tostada. Layer a quarter of the seasoned beef on top of the cheese, then place the tostada on top (or, if using tortilla chips, layer about a quarter of them over the beef).

Next, sprinkle a quarter of the sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese on top of the tostada. Place one of the cut tortilla pieces on top.

To fold, start by bringing the edge of the bottom tortilla closest to you up towards the center of the filling. Rotate the Crunchwrap Supreme clockwise and make another fold. Continue folding until the bottom tortilla completely covers the filling and overlaps the top tortilla, creating about 6 folds in total. The filling should now be fully enclosed by the folded tortilla.

Carefully flip the Crunchwrap Supreme over so the folded seams are facing down.

Heat the skillet again over medium heat and add a teaspoon of vegetable oil. Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down in the skillet. Gently press it with a spatula to help seal the seams. Cook for about 2 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side for another 2 minutes, or until golden brown.

Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas to assemble and cook the remaining Crunchwrap Supremes. Remove from heat, cut in half if desired, and enjoy warm!

    * Notes:

Do not overfill or they will likely fall apart when turning in the pan.
