    Creamy Blackened Chicken Alfredo

    We love the flavors in this blackened chicken alfredo. Of course, as with any recipe, you are welcome to add more spice or tone down anything to your liking. This is what you'll need to make about 3-4 servings:

    Ingredients:

    • 3 chicken breast
    • 3 Tbsp butter
    • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper
    • 1/4 tsp thyme, dried
    • 1/2 tsp oregano, dried
    • 6 oz fettuccine noodles, dry
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
    • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
    • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese

    Start by patting the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. In a small bowl, combine all the seasonings and press the mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, and once hot, add the chicken breasts, cooking for about 3 minutes on each side until seared. Once seared, transfer the chicken to the oven and bake at 375°F for an additional 30 minutes.

    While the chicken is baking, begin preparing the fettuccine noodles in a pot of boiling water. Then, begin making the sauce.

    In a large skillet, melt the butter and cream over medium heat, then turn to low heat and simmer for about 2 minutes. Next, whisk in the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, cooking for an additional minute. Finally, whisk in the Parmesan cheese until it melts and creates a smooth sauce. Serve the fettuccine Alfredo immediately, paired with the blackened chicken. Enjoy!
