Garlic Parmesan Pretzels: A Great Game Day or Pub Snack

Honestly, I would double this recipe. It's highly addictive with the salty crunch, garlic, and cheese blend. This is also an inexpensive snack for game days, the holidays, or really any time! It only takes about 15 minutes to throw this together from start to finish, so why not whip up a batch today! This is what you'll need for about 3 cups worth of garlic parm pretzels:

    Ingredients:

    • 3 cups mini twists pretzels
    • 4 tablespoon butter, melted
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt, optional
    • 1 tsp minced garlic
    • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
    • Fresh parsley, optional

In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, pepper, garlic powder, and minced garlic until well combined. Add the pretzels and toss to coat them evenly. Spread the coated pretzels on a parchment-lined baking sheet, drizzling any leftover butter over the top.

Bake the pretzels in a preheated 350°F oven for about 5 minutes, being careful not to overbake them to avoid drying out. Once out of the oven, lightly spray the pretzels with olive oil to help the cheese stick, then sprinkle with grated parmesan. Toss to coat and garnish with fresh parsley (if desired) before serving. Enjoy!

    *Notes:

Bake the pretzels briefly to warm them up and enhance the garlic flavor, but be cautious not to overbake, as they can dry out and become hard.

Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your liking. You can add more garlic or parmesan if you'd like.

For leftovers, store the pretzels in an airtight container or resealable bag at room temperature. They should stay fresh for 1 to 2 weeks.
