    Ingredients:

    Dough*:

    • 1 1/2 cups warm water
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 2 tablespoon olive oil
    • 4 teaspoons instant yeast
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    • 3 1/2 to 4 cups flour

    Filling:

    • 2 1/2 to 3 cups pizza sauce (Homemade or storebought)
    • 2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1 cup cheese blend (Monterey Jack or Colby Jack)
    • 1 cup pepperoni, chopped
    • 1/2 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder, optional
    • 1-2 tsp dried parsley, optional
    • 1/4 to 1/3 cup cornmeal
    • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.

In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with a dough hook, combine the water, honey, olive oil, yeast, salt, and 1 cup of flour. Mix on low speed, gradually adding the remaining flour until a soft, smooth dough forms and pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Knead the dough for 3-4 minutes, then let it rest in the bowl, covered, for 10-15 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Divide the dough into two equal portions. On a lightly greased surface, press one portion into a thin rectangle, roughly 14 x 10 inches. Spread about 2/3 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with half the mozzarella, half the cheese blend, half the pepperoni, and half the sausage.

Starting from one long side, roll the dough up like a cinnamon roll, pinching the seam to seal it.

Place some cornmeal in a shallow dish. Cut the dough into 1-inch sections, and press the bottom of each pizza roll into the cornmeal. Arrange the pizza rolls on the prepared baking sheet, about an inch apart.

Repeat the process with the second half of the dough.

Sprinkle the pizza rolls with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and parsley. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Warm the extra pizza sauce and serve the pizza rolls fresh out of the oven with the sauce for dipping.

    *Notes:

You are welcome to use storebought pizza dough in place of making your dough at home.
