Fosters needed after Minneapolis shelter responds to hoarding cases
MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis Animal Care and Control (MACC) is looking for people willing to foster cats or dogs — and these animals' lives depend on it. The Facebook group Friends of MACC posted that the organization impounded 25 cats in a single day in July and anticipates adding another 16 cats due to hoarding cases. Several were adopted, but nine of these cats aren't ready to be placed on the adoption floor due to nervousness.
