Boys volleyball clinches close victory over Two Rivers

The Forest Lake boys volleyball team participated in the Cardinal Clash tournament on Saturday, April 20, at Coon Rapids High School. The boys took second overall in the silver bracket, going 2-2 on the day with wins over New Prague and Brooklyn Center, before falling to both Bemidji and St. Paul-Johnson.

On Tuesday, April 23, the Rangers hosted a contest against Two Rivers, where the team ultimately won a close matchup in three sets by scores of 26-24, 25-22 and 25-22, respectively. Klein Eiden led the way with six kills, while Yupeng Vang and Zack Vang added 13 and eight set assists, respectively.

The squad is currently 1-0 in East Conference play, while holding an overall record of 3-6 on the year.
