DECORAH — On June 12, storms are expected to spread southeast across the area from the late afternoon into the evening. The highest confidence for severe storms is expected to hit Northeast Iowa. As of now, the advisory has been registered as a 2 out of 5 in intensity by the US National Weather Service in La Crosse, Wis. Major threats posed by the storm are hail, predicted to reach around 1 inch in diameter, along with winds reaching 60 to 70 miles per hour.
