The lemonade stand at the corner of North Davis and Houston Streets is open on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. through July. A cup of cool lemonade is 75 cents, and donations toward the cause are also welcome. The kids plan to use the money they raise to present their teachers, in Sulphur Springs, Cumby, Yantis, and Miller Grove elementary and middle schools, with a supply of common classroom needs like hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, and tissue when the school year gets underway.
