Northampton County man dies in Route 534 crash with truck, state police say
A 65-year-old Bath man died in a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon along Route 534 in Monroe County, state police said. Pennsylvania State Police in Lehighton said the accident happened shortly before 4 p.m. Friday at the highway’s intersection with Upper Middle Creek Road in Polk Township. A 59-year-old male driver from Easton was traveling west on Upper Middle Creek Road in a truck and failed to stop at a stop sign at the road’s intersection with Route 534, state police said.
