Early Friday morning, an allegedly stolen vehicle led Ceres and Turlock police on a chase that spilled through the streets of the Ceres area and involved dangerous maneuvers, ultimately ending with an arrest. Ceres Police Department reported the pursuit initiated when Officer Lord-Huff located the vehicle at approximately 05:17am near E Hatch Rd and Mitchell Rd. After an attempted traffic stop, the suspect attempted to evade police, setting off a pursuit, as per Ceres Police Department's Facebook post.

The Sacramento Police Department has issued a call to the public to help find a young boy who has been reported missing. The youth in question is 12-year-old Marquez Hollis, described as standing 5'2" with a thin build, black hair, and brown eyes.
