Tropical Smoothie Cafe Looks to Be Planning New Coral Springs Outpost

With more than 1400 locations in operation, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is one of the major contenders in the fast-casual smoothie shop space. And as TSC continues to grow nationwide, the chain appears to be planning a new location in Coral Springs , where recently submitted plan review paperwork shows a new Tropical Smoothie Cafe opening at 1750 N University Dr #111 .

The Tropical Smoothie Cafe menu features a long list of healthy smoothies, and some more indulgent ones (e.g. Peanut Butter Cup). Guests can load up on nutrients with Super Veggie smoothies like the Detox Island Green ( spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, banana & fresh ginger ) and others, or go somewhere in between with Fruit Blends like the Blimey Limey, with strawberries, pineapple, orange juice, and lime.

The menu also features flatbreads, wraps, sandwiches, and salads, which come with sides like chips, fruit, and more.

Opening in the North University Drive location, Tropical Smoothie Cafe would join a food and drink community that includes concepts like Chili’s Grill & Bar , Chipotle Mexican Grill , Benihana , along with Big Bear Brewing Company .

What Now reached out on Wednesday to franchisee Sandra Welzer to inquire about plans for the Coral Springs location. Welzer was not immediately available for comment.
