Town Hall Meeting in Coral Springs Will Provide Updates on Construction on Florida’s Turnpike, Sawgrass Expressway, Sample Road, and Loxahatchee Road

CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Florida Rep. Christine Hunschofsky, who represents Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, and Parkland, is holding a town hall meeting on Tuesday to address community questions and concerns regarding major construction projects on Florida’s Turnpike, Sawgrass Expressway, Sample Road, and Loxahatchee Road.

The discussion will be at 6:15 pm at Coral Springs City Hall at 9500 Sample Road and will provide information on the projects’ scope, timelines, and expected impacts.

"These transportation projects are about making our roads safer and more efficient,” Hunschofsky said. “With Broward County’s growth, we need to make sure our infrastructure can keep up. Ultimately, I’m hopeful that these projects will help reduce traffic jams, make our daily commutes smoother, and ensure our roads can handle more traffic in the future."

Representatives from the Florida Department of Transportation and Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization will be at the event to provide information and answer questions.

"The main goal of this town hall is to keep everyone in the loop about these projects,” Hunschofsky said. “We know construction can be disruptive, so we want everyone to know what to expect beforehand.”
