Eddyville Police Chief and other officers exposed to opioids during arrest
The Eddyville Police Chief, a Lyon County Deputy, and a KSP detective all had to be treated after being exposed to an unknown opioid during an arrest last week. Lyon County Sheriff's Deputy Josh Travis, Eddyville Police Chief Jordan Parrish, and an unnamed Kentucky State Police detective all had to be administered Narcan on Tuesday after coming in contact with a woman accused of being intoxicated at a convenience store in Eddyville. Travis and Jordan responded to the store to find 50-year-old Mary Gammon of Evansville allegedly extremely intoxicated.
