Sudden downburst causes widespread damage in Mountain View
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Okla. (KSWO) - A sudden downburst in Kiowa County left behind widespread damage in Mountain View around 8:30 p.m., July 16. As far as the damage goes, 7News spoke with Jeremy Hooper, Mountain View’s mayor, who says a warehouse barn is completely destroyed, a house is without part of its roof, several campers were tipped over and multiple small buildings were hit or picked up by the storm.

State election board conducts drawing to determine ballot order
A public drawing was held July 16 by the Secretary of the State Election Board, Paul Ziriax, to determine the ballot order for political parties and Independent candidates for the Nov. 5 General Election ballot. The drawing was held in accordance with state law at 9:30 a.m. at the State Capitol Building, Room G3, in Oklahoma City.
