Tanker crash send slick oil across I-5
A big-rig hauling used cooking oil crashed Wednesday on Interstate 5 south of Corning spilling used cooking oil across both northbound lanes of the freeway. California Highway Patrol reported James Musso, 24, of Anderson was driving the 2015 Kenmore north on the freeway in the slow lane south of Liberal Avenue, when around 1:48 p.m. he attempted to change lanes and lost control of the semi.

Corning’s last Tuesday Night Market of the summer was a big hit with the Corning 500 Boxcar Races.
