Williamsville hosted Auburn in week one Sangamo action at Paul Jenkins Field on Friday night. After a lightning delay just 4 minutes into the game they picked back up about 9pm as the Bullets went on to win 56-27. Williamsville travels to PORTA next week while Auburn hosts New Berlin.

The Williamsville Bullets picked up a 3-0 win over Rochester on Wednesday at Paul Jenkins Field. The Bullets were led by Sawyer Woods and Garrett Timm. Woods had two goals on the night while Timm picked up the shutout in goal. Williamsville heads to the Peoria Christian Tournament this weekend while Rochester travels to Collinsville on Saturday.

Simms Scores Three Touchdowns as CBC Defeats SHG
The Christian Brothers College High School Cadets defeat Sacred Heart Griffin 45-0 in a week one non-conference game. Cadet receiver Corey Simms scored three first half touchdowns in the win. IHSA Girls flag football season begins
BELLEVILLE, IL – One of Illinois’s fastest growing sports is beginning it’s inaugural season as an Illinois High School Association (IHSA) recognized sport. As the season kicks off, IHSA reports 170 teams have joined in. The teams do have a two-week drop window if they weren’t able to garner enough players but IHSA doesn’t anticipate that with the growth they’ve seen.
